The Opportunity The Strategy and Future Department is seeking a Strategic Planning & Performance Management Manager who will be responsible for implementing the Strategic Planning and Performance Management related activities, including the development of strategic plans, oversight of performance metrics, and execution of scenario planning initiatives, to ensure institutional alignment, proactive decision-making, and long-term strategic impact in line with the University’s institutional priorities, objectives, governance frameworks, and quality standards. The Responsibilities Operational Develop and implement institutional strategic plans in line with national priorities and the University’s objectives. Develop and regularly update strategic financial models with different scenarios in line with the strategic plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and seamless execution of strategic initiatives. Engage with the concerned internal and external stakeholders to align decision-making processes with strategic governance frameworks. Conduct scenario planning and long-term foresight initiatives to proactively identify institutional challenges and strategic opportunities. Execute strategic projects, while ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment of the same with institutional quality standards. Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leadership, leveraging performance insights, trend analysis, and emerging strategic developments. Monitor performance metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to assess institutional progress against strategic objectives. Prepare and deliver performance reports to summarize progress, insights, and recommendations for institutional application. Perform ad-hoc activities related to the job duties, as required by the direct supervisor. The Requirements Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience and at least 6 years in a managerial position. PhD with a minimum of 8 years of experience and at least 4 years in a managerial position. Certification in a relevant field is preferred. Other Essential Requirements: Certification in a relevant field is preferred. Fluency in Arabic & English Ability to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai Desired or preferred requirements: Experience working in the academic environment.
