Strategic Procurement Specialist Reference number: 11080 Closing date: 11pm 30 March 2026 * Permanent full-time opportunity working 38 hours per week * Hybrid working and monthly RDO accrual available * Salary in line with Council band 7, $112,111.93 per annum plus 12% superannuation (salary commensurate with experience) About the Role Council is seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist to support best practice procurement and contract management across the organisation. Working within a collaborative Procurement Team, you will lead end-to-end procurement processes, provide expert advice to internal stakeholders, and help deliver positive outcomes that support Council’s services and projects. This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening procurement practices while supporting projects and services that benefit the community. What You’ll Do * Manage end-to-end procurement activities including tender preparation, evaluation and contract negotiation. * Provide strategic procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders. * Develop procurement plans and sourcing strategies that deliver best value and manage risk. * Support strong contract governance and procurement compliance across Council. What We’re Looking For * Experience in procurement, tendering and contract management. * Knowledge of procurement frameworks, governance and legislation. * Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and deliver outcomes.
