JOB DESCRIPTION

As a co-op student supporting the Strategic Programs portfolio, you will contribute to the execution and enablement of three high-impact initiatives: Take Canada, Credit Automation, and the Value Creation Plan (VCP). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support delivery tracking, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement efforts. This role offers exposure to enterprise-level product strategy, agile delivery, and digital transformation.

Your role involves setting product strategy, analyzing industry capabilities, and aligning stakeholders. A co-op student could:

  • Assist in preparing business cases or strategic presentations.
  • Help document and track backlog items.
  • Support sprint planning logistics and meeting prep.
  • Maintain delivery dashboards or status trackers.
  • Coordinate meeting schedules and follow-ups.
  • Document action items and decisions from cross-functional syncs.
  • Assist with Quarterly Business Review (QBR) readiness materials .
  • Organize shared drives and knowledge repositories.
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose small process enhancements.
  • Assist in organizing learning sessions or peer mentoring events.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce, Communications or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI) is an asset
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle
