SUMMARY: The Strategic Project Management Associate plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives and high-impact projects. This position assists in coordinating project timelines, tracking deliverables, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to develop expertise in project management methodologies and cross-functional collaboration. In addition to the duties described below, the Strategic Project Management Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program. This is a temporary full-time position that will begin June 1, 2026, and conclude May 28, 2027, unless otherwise determined. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to): * Assist in managing projects, ensuring they stay on track, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. * Develop an understanding of Wrike, and assist in onboarding and training efforts across the organization. * Utilize project management system, Wrike, to assist strategic project management team in generating project schedules, including: task assignments, timelines, reporting, and milestones. * Provide general administrative support to the strategic project management team and Chief of Staff, including managing calendars, sending follow up communication, and tracking progress through a project’s lifespan. * Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize project execution. * Assist in risk assessment by flagging potential project roadblocks and supporting mitigation strategies. * Coordinate cross-functional collaboration by scheduling meetings, documenting key decisions, and ensuring alignment between teams. * Gather and analyze project performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. * Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency and efficiency. * Manage expectation of internal or cross-functional teams by developing strong relationships across all levels of the organization. * Possess strong communication skills to be able to effectively work with internal teams and external vendors.  QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Degree in Business Administration and Project Management, or a related field. * Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) * Strong organizational and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn a project management software (i.e. Wrike) * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills * Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy * Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with team members and stakeholders CONFIDENTIALITY REQUIREMENTS: This position may require the individual to have access to confidential records and information.
