Our purpose points the way In Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges. Since we began more than a century ago, this has been our guide. It’s how we've gotten so far. And it’s how we'll impact the future. Now, more than ever, the world needs change. And with biosolutions, the possibilities for transformation are endless. We’re here to better our world with biology. Welcome to Human Health Biosolutions’ Strategy team at Novonesis. We are looking for two new colleagues to join our Human Health Biosolutions (HHB) Strategy, M&A & Integration team, a focused group of around six colleagues working closely with the HHB Leadership Team and key stakeholders across the organization. We sit at the heart of the Human Health agenda, shaping and executing the strategic roadmap for HHB and driving high-impact strategic and business development initiatives, including M&A, licensing and integration, in close collaboration with Novonesis Corporate Strategy and other business units and functions. As part of this team, you will provide business, market and competitive analysis and insights to support key decisions and help unlock strategic and tactical opportunities across HHB. You will also play a key role in assessing M&A and licensing opportunities and integrating acquisition targets, coordinating workstreams and driving synergy realization together with colleagues across Novonesis. You will work both independently and in project teams, in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and with direct exposure to senior leaders and the HHB Leadership Team. Your key responsibilities will include: Manage projects, stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including detailed planning, follow-ups and regular progress updates, to execute strategic, business development and integration projects and deliver impactful outcomes. Drive ongoing project management and progress tracking of projects, workstreams and processes, including high-priority strategic initiatives and post-merger integrations, with a clear focus on impact and successful delivery. Plan, structure and facilitate meetings and workshops with divisional and/or functional stakeholders within Human Health Biosolutions and selected parts of the broader Novonesis organization. Prepare comprehensive strategic, commercial and financial analyses of market and competitor dynamics, internal performance, and customer & consumer insights to identify market gaps and growth opportunities. Prepare materials and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations for key stakeholders, including the HHB Leadership Team. Drive mid-to-long-term strategic financial forecasting processes, including defining clear assumptions, challenging business cases and providing insights to support informed decision-making. Relevant professional skills and experience: Experience from a similar role in a top-tier consulting firm and/or a large, fast-paced international corporate environment. Proven track record of leading and executing strategic, business development and tactical projects, with a strong drive for delivering impact through cross-functional initiatives. Strong strategic, market and commercial understanding combined with solid analytical skills, a pragmatic approach and results-oriented execution, including the ability to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable recommendations and plans. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders and convey complex information to all levels of the organization (both written and verbal). M&A, negotiation and integration experience is preferable. Familiarity with the Human Health industry and/or Life Sciences is desirable. The ideal candidate brings: A master’s degree in a related field (e.g., strategy, international business, business development, M&A, project management) with a flair for and/or interest in biotechnology or science. 5+ years of working experience in a relevant role within Strategy, Business Development and/or Strategic Project Management, including managing cross-functional teams. We expect that you are proactive and structured with strong prioritization skills, have a development-oriented mindset with a natural drive for improvement, and are able to work independently while showing initiative and ownership. You are an excellent communicator who works effectively with stakeholders across the organization and communicates confidently in English, both in writing and speaking.
