We are seeking a detail-oriented Strategic Quoting Specialist to support new and existing business by managing the end-to-end material quoting process. This role prepares and analyzes material costs to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely customer quotes in a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, send, and track material quote requests to meet deadlines * Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine inventory availability or new sourcing needs * Work directly with suppliers to obtain and clarify quotes * Analyze pricing, compare supplier quotes, and identify cost-saving opportunities * Track and expedite outstanding or delayed quotations * Collaborate with Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Engineering teams on supplier and cost strategies * Identify alternate components for obsolete or long lead-time parts Qualifications * Ability to read and interpret BOMs and mechanical drawings * Strong analytical and negotiation skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Education & Experience * Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of experience preferred, or * Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience * Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and mechanical assemblies preferred Why You’ll Love Working Here * Competitive pay and great benefits— including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off * Be part of a company that’s growing, changing, and full of new opportunities * A supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matter * Meaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the world ---------------------------------------- Intervala utilizes and/or develops certain technologies which are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
