LOCATION: BC/AB Region (Vancouver office)

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

This role is responsible for leading all sales and marketing activities within an assigned region, while also supporting national initiatives as part of the Strategic Relations Team. The position plays a key role in executing the company’s Marketing Plan, with a focus on expanding and enhancing the partner base across multiple product lines, including: Professional Liability, Commercial Lines, Environmental, Construction, Personal Lines, and Recreational/Marine. In collaboration with the Underwriting team, this role supports efforts to achieve high customer satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the organization’s long-term strategic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Insurance industry experience is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across all departments
  • Strong technical selling skills and comprehensive product knowledge across Personal, Commercial, Marine, and Professional Lines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Dynamic, professional demeanor with the ability to make a strong, positive impression on brokers and agents
Responsibilities
  • Actively engage with, manage, and grow relationships with Distribution Partners within your designated territory
  • Plan and conduct sales activities including office visits, virtual and in-person training sessions, broker meetings, and networking events
  • Develop and maintain a consistent sales strategy and activity schedule, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and outreach
  • Manage a database of qualified leads to support sales visits and promotional initiatives
  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities, including the coordination and execution of webinars and seminars
  • Responsibilities include booking, planning, setting up, and managing marketing collateral (e.g., ensuring sufficient stock and timely delivery)
  • Collaborate with underwriting by gathering and submitting detailed business information to support pricing, solutions development, and prospect engagement
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • Travel regularly within your territory (3–4 days per week), with occasional travel to other regions as needed to support events
