STRATEGIC SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

  • £30,000 - £40,000 pa DOE basic salary£10k annual Bonus Paid Quarterly Nottingham HQ

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years SDR/Sales experience.Experience within the Technology/IT sector would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently/with minimal supervision after a thorough onboarding.
  • Naturally resilient and a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to new strategies, tools, and market changes.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple leads simultaneously, and ensure prompt tasks are recorded and followed-up within agreed deadlines

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Head of Sales Development, you will play a crucial role in generating new sales opportunities with large organisations, through sourcing, identifying, and qualifying potential leads from inbound enquiries and outbound prospecting. The successful candidates will be proactive and achieve consistent pipeline growth, whilst being passionate about providing excellent customer service.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Outbound Prospecting: calling, email, and social media activity to potential clients, introducing them to the business and the product/services portfolio.Participate in Vendor-led pipeline generation activities.
    Inbound Lead Generation: promptly respond to inbound leads, qualify, and provide relevant information that address customer needs and meet their requirements. Appointment Setting: schedule meetings between potential clients and the sales team, ensuring a smooth transition/handover.Customer Engagement: build and develop strong relationships, gaining an understanding of their needs and pain-points, and position appropriate solutions.Market Research: continuously refine/optimise lead generation strategies by staying up to date with competitor activity, and market opportunities across several key industries.Reporting: prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline, account metrics, to present to internal stakeholders and line-managers.
