We are on the hunt for a Regional Sales Manager for the leading specialized automation and production systems. Location: REMOTE OFFICE, TRAVEL Southeastern USA corridor/ Gulf states- Louisiana, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. Reports to Director of Sales, USA.

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary function of the Regional Sales Manager Gulf Region is to build a market position by developing, negotiating, and executing the strategies and initiatives required to drive sales and profitability across The Gulf Coast Region. Must have a track record of success and business growth in a solution-sales environment, targeting hard automation, and welding.
This position requires a high degree of self-starting and self-discipline to be productive and effective. Mainly domestic, plus some international travel would constitute more than 100 days a year; deals are made with customers. Although working autonomously for independent sales results, the person also must be able to develop positive collaboration with colleagues to deliver the best level of customer-driven solutions to our customers.
· Create a strong pipeline of potential new business, while maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing customers.
· Increase overall market share within assigned region by understanding the market trends and changing market needs.
· Grow along with success as a regional Product Sales Specialist and develop local functions and organization to support growing business needs.
· The area of consulting could include anything from a single piece of equipment to their entire production organization.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

· Five or more years of successful experience in Welding Production sales is preferred, or welding experience and some sales-sales driven mindset
· An ideal candidate has a proven track record in heavy metal welding automation and/or hard automation industry, in the role of equipment, or entire production line with Sales Accountability.
· good experience with some typical client industries (i.e. heavy fabrication, shipbuilding, industrial boilers, oil & gas and process, and wind energy).
· A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an associate degree in Welding technology is preferred
· Proven track record of driving sales and closing deals through new business development
· Experience in a customer-centric, custom-solution environment where problem-solving is a key characteristic of a consultative sales process.
· Excellent communication skills, and a professional presence
· Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and networking skills
· Entrepreneurial self-starter with a tenacious go-getter approach
· Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office suite and CRM technology
· Valid Driving license and active passport
· Willingness to travel regionally and Internationally
· Willing to travel by car or plane
· USA work authorization, No VISA sponsorship is available
· Fluent in English, plus Spanish would be a benefit
