Grow with us At this time, Ericsson Canada Inc. does not provide immigration assistance/sponsorship now or in the future for this position Our Exciting Opportunity: Strategic Sourcing Manager; Category Group Strategic Sourcing Manager Warehousing & Distributors We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) for the Distributors and Warehousing Category to strengthen Ericsson's competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks, and contributing to creating value for the Customer. The SSM is accountable for evaluating, qualifying, and selecting service providers and suppliers in these categories for the rollout of solutions and projects. The SSM and/or the Supplier Relationship Manager are responsible for all commercial supplier relationships. What you will do: Be responsible and the point of contact for the commercial relationship with Distributors & Warehousing in AMCS, and potentially also for other markets Join a global team of highly effective Category Sourcing Accountable for managing supplier and stakeholder relationships in AMCS, actively driving business contribution and performance, and managing risks as responsible for commercial agreements. You will lead, prepare, and execute the RFx process for purchasing through distributors and for warehousing requirements to obtain the best commercial conditions and best quality. You will evaluate and award suppliers by following the sourcing processes ​Handle all questions and activities related to the Supplier base within your geographic responsibility​ You will interact with and motivate your stakeholders, peers, and colleagues. Finding new service models and driving continuous improvement You get to work with a best-in-class local and global team while interacting closely with stakeholders and suppliers You can influence and drive exciting, challenging global programs and projects You can remove barriers and address complex situations concerning our supply chain What you will bring: Academic Degree or equivalent qualification A minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Experience from distributors or the logistics industry. Must have strong and solid market knowledge. Experience with Supplier management and Contract negotiation Commercial acumen and skills Ability to solve problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions The understanding of team strategies and objectives The motivation to learn and constantly improve processes The people skills required to work with stakeholders and suppliers. Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus.
