Description
Responsible for the leadership of the entire Sourcing & Logistics function and oversees the engagement process through delivery and client management. Activities include responsibility for sourcing work taking into account the environmental, social and ethical factors throughout the supply chain, ensuring the implementation of the company's corporate social responsibility policy goals with a special focus on the ‘supplier’ module and the sourcing markets, and setting corporate standards for suppliers/vendors/mills to ensure products meet any statutory requirements and social norms. Activities further include developing, recommending, implementing and managing systems and processes that foster a socially responsible corporate culture that benefit the customers, employees and the communities served. As a generalist, performs work relating to multiple Sourcing & Logistics disciplines. Managers will have combined responsibilities over the different Sourcing & Logistics areas/job families.
