THE POSITION We’re hiring a Strategic Indirect Sourcing Manager for our Honeywell Aerospace business located in Shanghai, CN. The successful candidate (you) will establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business Leadership for your assigned commodity / category and/or region as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have global/regional Responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will manage Supplier Performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in a dynamic global environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations. An expert at managing sometimes complex relationships in a heavily matrixed global corporate environment, you’ll be front and center for a variety of motivational initiatives around the world and will be a key driver in rewarding success in impactful and times even innovative ways. You’ll have a strong eye for details, impeccable timing and communication skills, and an innovative and strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will drive procurement strategies for assigned commodities to achieve lowest total cost and ensure supply continuity. They will manage supplier performance, lead complex negotiations, and ensure compliance with global business policies and regulations.
