Description

Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across a designated category portfolio.
Design and implement category and sourcing strategies that deliver value and mitigate risk.
Manage the procurement of major contracts, including highly valuable and complex projects.
Drive commercial performance through effective supplier engagement, negotiation, demand management, and market analysis.
Ensure all procurement activity is conducted in line with organisational governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Experience & RequirementsExperience within strategic sourcing and category management, managing complex procurement categories.
Demonstrable success leading complex, high-value sourcing and tendering programmes.
Well-developed commercial acumen, including contract management, supplier negotiations, and value delivery.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and experience of the Procurement Act 2023 is beneficial but not essential.
