STRATEGIC SOURCING & PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – AEROSPACE

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Specialist with a strong background in aerospace and defense supply chain operations to support critical procurement initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for aerospace parts, assemblies, equipment, and services to ensure compliance, quality, and on-time delivery in alignment with FAA, AS9100, and other industry standards.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in aerospace sourcing — capable of negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and driving cost efficiencies in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering (required).
• Professional certifications such as CPM, CPIM, or CSCP (preferred).

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2+ years in procurement or supply chain, with at least 1 year in an aerospace, aviation, or defense environment.
• Experience sourcing aerospace hardware, machined components, raw materials, or specialized manufacturing services.

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of aerospace procurement processes, AS9100/ISO standards, and export compliance (ITAR/EAR).
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel tools for data analysis.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
• Ability to balance cost, quality, compliance, and delivery in a regulated environment.
