Brief Summary (of the role) :
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for leading procurement activities within the Company, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Degree in any discipline, Engineering preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Global strategic procurement/sourcing experience in manufacturing environment
• Proactive, independent, result-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset

• Perform market analysis, develop, execute and drive strategic sourcing solutions in accordance with company needs
• Research and identify potential suppliers, work with stakeholders to evaluate their capabilities, reliability and pricing to ensure the value for the organization
• Assess and mitigate supply risk in the organization’s supply chain
• Manage and monitor key suppliers’ performance and supplier relationships
• Negotiate with suppliers for favourable price, terms and conditions, establish and manage contracts with key suppliers and projects
