ROLE: Strategic Sourcing Specialist REPORTS TO: Environmental, Social and Governance Manager LOCATION: Burnaby, BC We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Sourcing Team! Our Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for improving our supply chain through the selection of supply partners for the business in a manner that is cost-efficient, promotes innovation, and minimizes risk. You will be managing categories; sourcing, securing and reviewing vendors; evaluating the cost and quality of goods or services; analyzing data and information related to vendor management; and running projects to deliver business benefits. Opportunities The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for the strategic procurement of direct /indirect categories including commodities, supplies, equipment, and services to be used by the organization. This individual will utilize expert knowledge to develop sourcing strategies to purchase goods and services at the most favorable price for the company, while simultaneously building and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers.
