Job Description Primary Responsibilities Take responsibility for the strategic sourcing management goals of the company and implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved for the business requirements (diverse portfolio, e.g. downstream, support functions); Analyze and manage contracts to optimize terms, ensuring compliance, identifying enhancement opportunities, and considering potential legal implications; Facilitate the administration of vendor-related activities such as registration to the system, rating onsite inspection and evaluation of vendors; Sourcing for local and foreign suppliers • Implement supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with cross functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions; Evaluate, select, and establish relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for goods and services; Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect the continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities; Develops and delivers regular spend reports based on the data available from all available sources, identify early trends and potential solutions; Analyze category, market and industry trends along with advances in sourcing to develop appropriate recommendations regarding the procurement of goods and services; Perform other task related to work designation as per instruction by the supervisor. Specific Responsibilities Receives and reviews all requirements prepared by end-users/business; Negotiate price and delivery lead time to stakeholders; Recommends supplier for awarding in compliance with the procurement procedure within 7 days; Auto-create PR to Purchase Order (PO) in Oracle; Open PO Analysis and reconciliation; GR/IR Analysis and reconciliation; Contract management; Ensure timely delivery/completion of PO. Prepare, update and consolidate the monitoring tool of all the importations, with proper coordination with other Procurement team members, Identify frequency of requirements and prepare contracts to cover the goods/services to develop BPA and/or CPA in Oracle. Submit Monthly Operations Report (MOR) to Procurement Manager. Other reports that maybe required from time to time Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity Complies with the Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) policies and supporting objectives including, but not limited to: Demonstrates strong obligation to SGS QHSEE policies, procedures and work instructions by actively participating in meetings, projects and events, completes required training, intervenes in unsafe situations, refuses unsafe work, and complies fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSEE Perform appropriately and immediately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace Disposes or directs the disposal of waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with the disposal regulations and requirements, and in accordance with SGS Environmental Management System requirements Reports all incidents, including near misses and hazards, that may affect the achievement of QHSEE objectives in accordance with SGS Incident Reporting and Management requirements Efficiently uses all equipment, including safety equipment, and company owned property in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to immediate superior Maintains a safe and tidy worksite according to the organization’s 5S program and guidelines Maintains awareness of the safety and health related hazards and environmental aspects and proposes action plans to control the risks to immediate superior or QHSEE Coordinators Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management Fulfills the requirements needed in the success of the QHSEE Management System Recognizes the potential consequences of not following the established policies, procedures, and guidelines, including not fulfilling the organization’s compliance obligations. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in Contracts and Procurement, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing roles. Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems, along with advanced data analysis skills. Additional Information Extensive experience in contracts and procurement, with a strong understanding of importation processes, customs regulations, and legal requirements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders, fostering strong business partnerships. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
