Job Description:
We are looking for a Strategist to be employed in our Milan office for Dentsu creative.
Role Purpose
We are seeking a Strategist who looks beyond the screen and is eager to dive into the action, collaborating with all the Dentsu Creative teams in inventing new ways of making brands relevant and iconic.
As a Strategist you will work closely with all the Dentsu Creative teams to provide solid background support for the development of brand and communication strategies for Italian and global brands.
Key Accountabilities

As a Strategist, you will:

  • Execute consistent analysis, researching consumer insights, cultural trends, competition and industry trends / benchmarks, actively participating in the creation of strategic and robust deliverables that leverage innovative insights.
  • Work in collaboration with the data team that is part of the strategy department to integrate data and help design consumer primary research.
  • Work closely with more senior strategists to develop brand and communication strategies and integrated ecosystems for brand communication campaigns and activations.
  • Collaborate with numerous vertical specialists within Dentsu Creative (creative, design, social, experiential, influencers, digital experience and many others).
  • Pro-actively seek out opportunities to make the work better.
  • Show initiative and tenacity in attacking assignments.

You will consolidate your skills in consumer research, time management, and developing strategies and ideas that meet client briefs and goals, becoming capable of independently handling the demands of creative leadership and clients.

Person Specification

  • You have 1-2 years of previous experience
  • You are curious about what makes brands relevant, differentiated and distinctive in people’s lives and more broadly in culture.
  • You can complete research tasks under direction of more senior members of the strategy team with precision and accuracy.
  • You have a propensity for teamwork, listening and mediation.
  • You are proactive and willing to go beyond the mere execution of your tasks, exploring new and different solutions to accomplish them.
  • You have a propensity to synthetise complex scenarios into simple, key insights and observations.
  • Excellent written and spoken Italian, fluent in written English, at least good spoken English skills.
