We are now seeking a Strategy Analyst to join our Auckland-based team in a newly created, high-impact role. The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Strategy, this role sits at the centre of ZIWI’s strategic decision-making. You will play a critical role in shaping how the business grows, competes, and allocates resources globally. This is a high-exposure position suited to a commercially minded analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to build deep strategic capability. You will work across the full strategy lifecycle — from rigorous analysis and financial modelling through to synthesising insights and delivering board-level materials — while also owning the execution of key strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Analysis & Insight Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and consumer analysis Develop robust financial models to evaluate growth opportunities and investment decisions Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders Monitor global market trends and identify strategic implications Prepare high-quality, board-ready presentations Project Management & Execution Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic projects from scoping through to execution Define objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Drive cross-functional alignment and hold teams accountable to outcomes Manage multiple workstreams, proactively resolving risks and blockers Facilitate workshops and decision-making forums with senior leaders Strategic Planning & Business Performance Support the annual strategic planning cycle and development of long-term roadmaps Contribute to business cases across market entry, product innovation, and M&A Translate strategy into actionable implementation plans with measurable outcomes Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships across Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations Communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders and external stakeholders Support engagement with private equity partners on reporting and analysis About You You are a sharp, structured thinker with a strong foundation in consulting and a proven ability to deliver results. You combine analytical rigour with commercial insight and are comfortable taking ownership in a dynamic environment. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or related field 1–4 years’ experience in management consulting Demonstrated experience delivering projects end-to-end Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities Desirable Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods Exposure to private equity environments Strong communication skills and pragmatic use of strategic frameworks Why Join ZIWI?
