Key Accountabilities 1) Strategic execution & business decision support Own leadership-ready materials for the leadership team: decision memos, executive summaries, strategic narratives, and performance insights; ensure storyline is crisp, fact-based, and action-oriented. Convert decisions into executable plans: define scope, owners, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics; drive disciplined follow-up until closure (no loose ends). Maintain a VP-level portfolio view of priorities (outcomes, owners, key dependencies, key risks) and propose escalation paths and decision points to protect value delivery. Translate strategy into an initiative portfolio: shape value cases, sequencing and interlocks, and define scale/stop criteria (including pilots/experiments) to accelerate learning and impact. 3) Integrated business insights & strategic advisory (single fact base) Build and maintain an integrated business fact base for the VP: commercial performance, operational drivers, market/competitor intelligence, and risk/opportunity sizing. Synthesize inputs across functions into VP-ready insights: identify themes, root causes, trade-offs, and “so-what”; surface early signals and recommend actions. Partner with functions to frame strategic hypotheses (new growth, productivity, capability build), evaluate feasibility, and translate insights into a pipeline of initiatives. Support key strategy/portfolio and performance reviews: ensure hypotheses are translated into actions, decisions are documented, and follow-ups are tracked to impact. 4) Organizational change, stakeholder management & leadership communications Act as the VP Office focal point for priority transformations: define change objectives, stakeholder impacts, adoption risks, and intervention plan (governance + communications + capability/ways of working). Own the VP’s internal narrative: craft and cascade key communications with consistent strategic framing, clear call-to-action, and linkage to milestones and accountabilities. Build and manage stakeholder map and engagement plan for VP priorities; drive pre-alignment, surface tensions/risks early, and advise the VP on influencing strategy. Strengthen change adoption: design two-way communication and feedback loops, track adoption/engagement signals, and propose adjustments to improve understanding and execution.
