Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a Corporate Strategy and Business Development Analyst to join our Strategy, Business Development and M&A team in Barge (CN) working in a uniquely high-performing, inclusive and collaborative working culture.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Preparation of 2-3 year strategic plan in cooperation with main company functions (sales, R&D, operations, etc)
- Support planning, modeling & execution of strategic projects (like new product launch, new market entry, etc)
- Support in M&A pipeline development efforts: identify targets, screen new ideas, create profiles
- Support the M&A team in the due diligence of active deals including development of business cases, data analysis, financial models and associated presentations
- Analyze key customers, market trends and competitor performance / strategic actions
- Support in analyses and presentations for top management
Position Requirements:
Skills:
- Highly motivated, self-starter (must-have)
- Good communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts in a concise way (preferred – some degree of it is must-have)
- Good presentation skills, able to prepare presentations for top management focused on key messages (preferred – some degree of it is must-have)
- Strong analytical and excel modeling skills, able to analyze complex data sources (structured or unstructured) and gain business insights from them (preferred – some degree of it is must-have)
- Curious & willing to learn new things, able to jump on different topics & interact with different functions (must-have)
- Ability to set priorities and manage own time and work to meet deadlines (must-have)
- Background:
- 2/3 years experience in corporate strategy / M&A, consulting, investment banking, private equity is preferred
- Degree in economics, management or finance is preferred
- Very good English is a must
