Where does the next line of your story start? With Mahlab. A group of deep thinkers, open minds and creative communicators driven by unconventional curiosity. Here, there are no bad questions or boring stories. Because we know a questioning mind and listening ear creates work that works. Work that matters. Work with impact.
Headquartered in Sydney, with teams in Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore, we’re one of Asia Pacific’s largest independent agencies creating award-winning business communications for some of the world’s most dynamic B2B brands such as Figma, Zoom and ABB.
As a consultant at Mahlab, you will be responsible for developing strategies for our clients. Working closely with the Head of Strategy, this role includes leading the strategy development process with the client and internally as well as leading multidisciplinary project teams to develop and deliver on strategy engagements.
You will identify opportunities for additional projects with existing clients and develop proposals to secure these opportunities. This will include identifying the problem that we are trying to solve, actively engaging the client in developing the opportunity and building out the project budget.
Responsibilities
  • 4+ years experience working in communications or a similar field.
  • 2+ years delivering strategic consultancy.
  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Media Relations, Project Management or similar (advantageous).
  • A team player, capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders and projects at once and leading from the front.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Keen interest in exploring new tools (such as generative AI) to expand capabilities and improve the strategy development process.
