At the core of this journey, the Strategy & Transformation Office is expanding its internal Strategy Consulting Pool to meet growing demand for high-impact strategic work across digital, data & AI, and organisation transformation topics. What you are going to do In this role, you will work on board-level priorities, combining structured problem solving with hands-on execution. You will help shape and deliver end-to-end transformations, from defining strategy to driving implementation and measurable impact. Recent engagements include shaping the NN Bank strategy, defining a group-wide commercial strategy, and advancing cross-group transformation initiatives, often at the intersection of business, technology, people and data. You will also collaborate closely with leading external consulting firms when relevant, jointly developing insights, facilitating workshops, and translating strategy into execution. As a Consultant, you support corporate strategy and transformation projects by breaking down complex questions into structured analyses and actionable insights. You work on topics such as group strategy, business model transformation, and cross-function strategic initiatives. You gather and analyse data, conduct interviews and translate findings into clear, well-structured storylines and materials for senior stakeholders. You take ownership of your deliverables and planning, contributing to high-quality output within broader transformation programmes. Then you can declare the kilometers travelled Allowances for setting up your home office and for internet use Who you are Around 2-3 years of experience in a top-tier or (strategy) consulting firm, or in an internal strategy or analytical role Structured, analytical, and able to turn ambiguity into clarity Work is accurate, well-organised, and clearly communicated Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint (Think-Cell is a plus) Curious about financial services, corporate strategy, digital transformation, and the role of digital, data, and AI as key enablers Effective communication skills in Dutch and English, with strong collaboration across teams Who you will work with You are part of the Strategy & Transformation Office which consists of two teams: Portfolio management Future Ready programme and the Strategy Consulting Pool. The team has a direct reporting line to the CEO of NN Group. The Strategy Consulting Pool is a small, high-performing team with strong consulting backgrounds and direct exposure to Managing Board (MB) and MB-1 stakeholders. The team plays a critical role in bridging strategy, digital innovation, and execution, ensuring that strategic choices translate into tangible business outcomes. The team is based in The Hague and works onsite at least two days per week, with the option to meet in Amsterdam when relevant. Any questions?
