At the core of this journey, the Strategy & Transformation Office is expanding its internal Strategy Consulting Pool to meet growing demand for high-impact strategic work across digital, data & AI, and organisation transformation topics. What you are going to do In this role, you will work on board-level priorities, combining structured problem solving with hands-on execution. You will help shape and deliver end-to-end transformations, from defining strategy to driving implementation and measurable impact. Recent engagements include shaping the NN Bank strategy, defining a group-wide commercial strategy, and advancing cross-group transformation initiatives, often at the intersection of business, technology, people and data. You will also collaborate closely with leading external consulting firms when relevant, jointly developing insights, facilitating workshops, and translating strategy into execution. As an Engagement Manager, you lead corporate strategy and transformation projects from problem definition through to decision-making and initial execution. You define the overall project approach, structure key questions and ensure that multiple workstreams come together into clear, coherent and actionable recommendations. You work on topics such as group strategy, large-scale transformation programmes, operating model changes and strategic portfolio choices. You engage closely with senior stakeholders, driving alignment and supporting decision-making at MB and MB-1 level. You are responsible for project governance, planning, quality and delivery, and ensure that strategic recommendations are translated into concrete and executable plans. You lead and coach your team, creating clarity, focus and a high-performance environment. Then you can declare the kilometers travelled Allowances for setting up your home office and for internet use Who you are You have around 6-8 years of experience in a top-tier or (strategy) consulting firm, or in a comparable strategy or transformation role, with a proven track record in leading projects. You are able to structure complex strategic challenges, guide teams and drive projects to clear outcomes. You combine strong analytical skills with a pragmatic approach to execution. You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders and can communicate clearly and convincingly. You have experience with corporate strategy and transformation, and understand the role of digital, data & AI as enablers in driving change. You are a strong team leader, fluent in Dutch and English, and contribute to building a high-performing team culture. Who you will work with You are part of the Strategy & Transformation Office which consists of two teams: Portfolio management Future Ready programme and the Strategy Consulting Pool. The team has a direct reporting line to the CEO of NN Group. The Strategy Consulting Pool is a small, high-performing team with strong consulting backgrounds. The team is based in The Hague and works onsite at least two days per week, with the option to meet in Amsterdam when relevant. Any questions?
