  • Strong Excel skills, including working with large data sets, formulas, and data structuring (Power Query experience is a plus).
  • Effective communicator, able to write clear reports and create engaging PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process-oriented, with a good understanding of business workflows and a willingness to own and optimise existing processes.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally, engaging with the software, client delivery, and leadership teams to align tools, systems, and reporting practices.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience as an Engineer (any discipline), Management Consultant, Technology Consultant, Business / Data / Finance Analyst, or similar analytical role.
  • Educated in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related field. Exposure to internal tool optimisation, system implementation, or lightweight automation (e.g. integrations between Excel, CRMs, or reporting systems).
  • Experience supporting internal operations, including documentation, data governance, and project tracking.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Strategy & Operations Associate to develop our growing business. This role will sit at the intersection of operations, software development, and client delivery — ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem solving, and working across teams. You’ll work closely with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership to help manage day-to day operations, drive cross-functional initiatives, and ensure the business runs smoothly. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll be empowered to lead internal improvements, optimise systems, and take ownership of key workstreams across the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Business Operations: Work closely with the Chief of Staff to manage and improve day-to-day business operations, including software development, client delivery processes, and internal reporting.
  • Own Internal Processes: Identify inefficiencies across internal workflows (e.g. reporting, operations), propose improvements, and implement solutions using available tools or light automation.
  • Analyse and Interpret Data: Gather data from internal and external sources (e.g. asset monitoring platforms, spreadsheets, CRM systems), analyse trends, and translate into actionable insights.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular reports, internal dashboards, and presentation decks for use in leadership updates, investor meetings, or client communications.
  • Tool & System Optimisation: Collaborate with teams to assess current tools (e.g. Excel, ClickUp, custom software), help implement upgrades or integrations, and act as a champion for internal system improvements.
  • Coordinate Projects & Workstreams: Track progress across multiple ongoing workstreams (software development, client onboarding, internal initiatives), ensure tasks are aligned and deadlines are met.
  • Client-Facing Support: Join select client meetings or support communications by preparing data packs, slide decks, or project timelines.
  • Data Governance: Develop and maintain internal data catalogues and system documentation, ensuring consistent usage across teams.
  • Research & Recommendations: Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and potential partnerships; prepare summaries and recommendations for senior leadership.
