Description
Location: Stockholm Team: Operations & Strategy Reports to: Chief Strategy & Operations Officer Scope: Cross-functional across Product, Marketing, Sales, Trust & Safety, and Engineering About Pet Media Group Pet Media Group (PMG) is a Stockholm-based scale-up that acquires, launches, and scales leading pet marketplaces globally. Over 1.5 million animals find new homes through our platforms each year, and we operate across multiple countries with a mission to make rehoming pets more trusted, safe, and convenient through technology. We’re a profitable company, growing, and backed by top European investors. The role We’re looking for a full-stack business operator: someone who can go from strategy → analysis → implementation, and who’s genuinely technical in how they operate. You’ll work on high-impact growth and operational initiatives—everything from identifying the biggest levers in the funnel, to building dashboards, to automating workflows, to running experiments, to tightening execution across teams. This is a “get-things-done” role where the output isn’t a slide deck—it’s measurable change in performance. What you’ll do 1) Drive growth through data + execution Identify and size growth opportunities across our marketplace funnel (supply, demand, conversion, pricing, retention). Turn insights into a prioritized roadmap, and drive implementation with stakeholders. Design and run data-driven experiments (A/B tests, quasi-experiments, operational tests) and translate results into decisions. 2) Build technical analytics that people actually use Write and maintain SQL to answer ambiguous questions fast and reliably. Build and own core dashboards / reporting (e.g., Looker/Tableau/PowerBI or similar). Create KPI definitions and ensure teams are aligned on “one version of truth”. 3) Automate the business (systems mindset) Map operational workflows end-to-end (lead routing, sales ops, QA, onboarding, support loops). Build lightweight automations using tools like n8n / Zapier / Make, plus APIs/webhooks when needed. Reduce manual work and error rates by building simple internal tools, alerts, and automated reporting. 4) Be the connective tissue across teams Work with Sales/Growth to improve targeting, segmentation, outreach efficiency, and execution cadence. Partner with Product/Engineering to translate operational reality into product opportunities and requirements. Help set weekly/monthly/quarterly goals and run operating rhythms (tracking, follow-ups, unblockers). What you’ll need to succeed Must-haves 3+ years in Strategy & Ops, consulting, growth ops, biz ops, sales ops, or similar—ideally in a marketplace / high-growth environment. Startup/high-growth experience and love for operational simplicity. You can translate messy problems into clear hypotheses, analyses, and execution plans. Strong ownership: you can run multiple initiatives, keep stakeholders aligned, and ship outcomes. Nice-to-haves Familiarity with modern data stacks (dbt, BigQuery/Snowflake, event tracking). Comfort with automation + tooling: you enjoy connecting systems and streamlining workflows (bonus for n8n, APIs, webhooks). Strong SQL skills (you can self-serve analyses, build reliable datasets, and sanity-check numbers). AI-passionate: you have vibe coded your share of personal and/or professional projects What we offer A dog-friendly Stockholm HQ (with flexibility to work remotely occasionally) Social environment with annual offsites, meeting colleagues from 20 countries High autonomy, high impact, and steep learning curve Competitive compensation + strong team culture (after-works, events, wellness) The chance to help shape how millions of people find pets safely
