Description
Evaluate new business opportunities through build, buy, or partner options (e.g., M&A, joint ventures, ecosystem partnerships). Conduct strategic assessments of markets, technologies, and customer trends to identify areas for differentiation and competitive advantage. Lead strategic analyses (business cases, scenario modelling, synergy assessments) to support investment decisions. Collaborate with Group Strategy and Finance teams to identify, assess, and execute potential acquisitions, joint ventures, or strategic alliances that align with Enterprise growth objectives. Support due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Partner with Enterprise functional leads (Product, Operations, Technology) to translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps. Track execution and measure strategic outcomes against agreed KPIs, ensuring alignment with the overall Enterprise transformation objectives. Support the communication of strategy and progress to senior leadership, Vodacom Group, and other key stakeholders. 6+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or corporate development roles within Telecoms, Technology, or adjacent B2B sectors. Proven analytical skills and business modelling expertise, with experience evaluating investments and strategic options. Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives without direct authority. Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to synthesize complex ideas into clear, actionable narratives.
