MISSION Reporting into the Senior Director, Head of Corporate Strategy, the Strategy Senior Manager will support strategic decision-making activities and drive execution of key initiatives in alignment with Almirall’s Ambition and the Long Term Strategic Plan. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate the company Long term Strategic Plan, following the three phases (1. Accelerate, 2. Transform and 3. Conquer) with a holistic approach and with special deep dive on the stage gates on the “Where to Play” and “How to Play”. Lead internal project team(s) composed of functional experts in the Strategic Projects defined. Monitor the execution of the Strategic Projects defined. Support the preparation of the annual SRM (Strategy Review Meeting) topics for discussion and materials preparation with the respective functional teams, assisting the Head of Corporate Strategy and supporting the CEO and Management Board members. Support the Annual Strategic Compass assessment, following-up the fulfilment of the priorities set, assessing the “on-tracks” and “watch-outs” driving to potential strategic projects and action plans. Support annually the Ambition KPIs defined until 2030, according to the four strategic pillars (1. Transforming Patients Lives, 2. Partnering with Dermatologists, 3. Growing the Business while Innovating and 4. Making a Mark in Sustainability and Social Impact) assessing conclusions and action plans when needed. Help coordinating the 15 Year Forecast Projections taking as the basis the 5 Year Forecast, together with the Head of Corporate Strategy, Finance and GMI teams, as well as the Company Valuation, benchmarking with peers and competitors. Monitor trends in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as competition dynamics, within medical dermatology and beyond, being one step ahead in the identification of opportunities and/or challenges for Almirall. Collaborate closely with the M&A, Corporate Development, and Strategic Alliances teams on strategic projects with relevant impact in our Long term Strategy Plan. Perform strategic financial assessments (Intangibles Assessment, Comparison vs Acquisition Business Cases) and propose strategic questions to be further investigated. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Engineering) combined with a Master’s in Business (e.g., Business Administration or Economics). Professional experience of at least 3-5 years in positions in Strategic Consulting or Venture Capital exposed to the Pharmaceutical Industry or in the Pharmaceutical Industry, within Corporate Strategy, or other areas with global holistic view (M&A, Corporate Development, Business development). SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Enterprise leadership mindset, strategic thinking, results oriented and value creation mindset. Team leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence. Analytical and synthetic skills. Ability to simplify complex situations.
