The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Street Sweeper is responsible for cleaning the city’s streets and parking areas following an approved schedule. The person in this position will be self-supervised for the most part as they will set the route and time frame for cleaning. An individual in this position will also perform a variety of tasks in the Drainage Department. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and dependability. If you can do those things and meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you. * High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). * Valid Texas Class “B” Driver’s License with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement. Ability to obtain a Class “A” Commercial Texas Driver’s License within twelve (12) months of employment. * One (1) year of experience operating heavy equipment or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities for this position. * Employee must have traffic flagger and work zone safety certificates or ability to obtain these certificates within twelve (12) months of employment. * Completed TYMCO Sweeper Maintenance Training (or be able to obtain within twelve (12) months of employment).
