Job Title: Part-Time Strength & Conditioning Coach (Evenings)

Schedule: Evenings | 10–15 hours/week
Compensation: $33–$71/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Contract Term: Late September to End of February

Calgary Strength & Physio is a performance-focused facility dedicated to helping athletes reach their highest potential. We specialize in strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, and sports-specific training, working with athletes from a wide range of sports and competitive levels.
Position Summary:
We are currently hiring a Part-Time Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team for the upcoming fall/winter season. This role will primarily involve working with athletes during evening sessions, from late September through the end of February. The ideal candidate is passionate about athletic development, knowledgeable in performance training principles, and confident working independently with youth and adult athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver sport-specific strength and conditioning programs
  • Lead group and/or individual training sessions in a safe, professional manner
  • Track athlete progress and make program adjustments as needed
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with athletes in a strength and conditioning setting (required)
  • Experience training hockey players (strong asset)
  • Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field (preferred)
  • CSCS, CSEP-CPT, or other relevant certification (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Availability to work weekday evenings
