Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field (preferred).
  • CSCS, CSEP, or equivalent recognized certification.
  • 1–3 years of coaching/training experience (athletes, teams, or clinic/fitness setting).
  • Strong communication skills and an energetic, engaging personality.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and think creatively in dynamic training environments.
  • Team-first mindset with willingness to support other departments

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for assisting with program design, coaching, and monitoring training sessions for athletes of various ages and skill levels. The role requires a strong ability to connect with athletes, bring energy and personality to the training environment, and support the broader team vision of integrated performance and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions (individual, small group, and team settings).
  • Assist with design and critically adapt programs tailored to sport-specific and athlete-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with physiotherapists, athletic therapists, massage therapists, and skill coaches to ensure an integrated athlete development plan.
  • Track progress through testing, assessments, and ongoing monitoring (VALD etc.)
  • Create a positive, motivating, and disciplined environment for athletes.
  • Support off-season, in-season, and developmental programs.
  • Contribute to workshops, education sessions, and athlete/parent communication.
  • Assist in marketing and social media initiatives when required.
