Job Summary: The Strength & Conditioning Coach provides physical training instruction, coaching, and performance development to candidates participating in Naval Special Warfare Orientation (NSWO) courses of instruction. The coach will deliver structured strength and conditioning programs designed to improve candidate performance, reduce injury risk, and support successful progression through the training pipeline. This position requires daily interaction with junior sailors and demands the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and adherence to Naval Special Warfare policies and procedures. Responsibilities:  * Provide strength and conditioning coaching and instruction to candidates in NSWO training   pipelines * Design and implement progressive strength, endurance, and mobility training programs * Conduct physical fitness assessments in accordance with OPNAVINST 6110.1 (series) * Prepare candidates to meet and exceed Physical Screening Test (PST) standards IAW MILPERSMAN 1220-410 * Maintain a high level of personal fitness and demonstrate techniques as required * Ensure safe execution of all training evolutions in accordance with NSW high-risk training policies * Complete High-Risk Instructor Training Course (HRITC) and qualify as a High-Risk Safety and Training Instructor * Perform administrative duties including tracking and recording candidate performance in ITRMS * Safeguard Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Personal Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA requirements * Coordinate with NSWO leadership to identify performance trends and recommend improvements * Support development of training plans to improve candidate performance and reduce attrition * Adhere to all NSW policies, instructions, and guidance for training execution Required Skills and Experience:  * Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field * Minimum of two (2) years of recent (within the last 4 years) experience as a strength and conditioning coach or physical fitness leader in a comparable environment * Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) * Current CPR and AED certification (American Red Cross or equivalent) * Ability to meet and maintain PST standards at the SWCC candidate level within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter * Ability to successfully complete HRITC and qualify as a High-Risk Safety and Training Instructor * Strong understanding of strength and conditioning principles, injury prevention, and performance optimization * Experience working in high-performance or tactical training environments * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-tempo training environment * Strong communication and leadership skills when working with junior personnel Desired Skills and Experience: * Experience working with Naval Special Warfare, military, or tactical athlete populations * Tactical Strength and Conditioning certification or equivalent advanced credentials * Experience developing periodized training programs for endurance and tactical athletes * Familiarity with NSW training pipelines and candidate performance requirements * Experience using performance tracking systems such as ITRMS or similar databases * Prior military experience, particularly in special operations or physically demanding roles Required Background Check: Background check and drug screening required (HireRight). Type of Employment: Full-Time T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards.  To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel.  All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP.  Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
