Role Description We are currently in search of a self-motivated and detail-oriented candidate to work in the Strength Assembly Department. This position produces finished equipment by assembling parts. They may also sub-assemble items using hardware and small tools. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, willing to be trained, and have an excellent attendance record. This candidate will need to read and decipher schematics and assembly instructions. They will assemble valves, air seals, and minor electronic components, use hand tools or machines to assemble parts, and conduct quality control checks. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Tightening nuts and bolts using various chemicals such as thread lockers, lubricants, and soldering Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and system quality issues Stay current on required employee training Suggest updates and improvements to existing procedure Report to work as scheduled This list is not all-inclusive; management, at its discretion, may assign additional duties This position is a temp-to-hire position using a third-party agency. Employees are evaluated after 90 days and offered a position with the company if they are meeting expectations. Requirements 6 months previous manufacturing experience Ability to read and write English Knowledge of reading assembly drawings and diagrams On-the-job training with retained knowledge of 8 Keiser strength machines, from both Strength and Infinity series PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 1 year in manufacturing environment Knowledge of how Keiser fitness equipment works Passion for exercise and wellness Knowledge of computer system parts and operating systems PHYSICAL ACTIVITY Frequent standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling with occasional reaching above shoulder level or crouching down low PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Above waist lifting: seldom Pulling/Pushing: occasionally Standing: frequent Sitting: seldom Reaching above: seldom Climbing ladders: seldom Lifting: up to 50 lbs.
