* Help change the immediate future of at risk children, young people & families * Join a supportive & friendly team environment|full time|fixed term to 9th April 2027 * Bring your enthusiasm and creativity to a well respected group of professionals   Your role: We are looking for someone with well-developed assessment skills, the ability to effectively engage children, young people and their families, demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with families and the capacity to identify family strengths and competencies, in order to facilitate positive change.  This position involves outreach and office based roles, group work and in-home skill development with the aim of strengthening parenting capacity, achieving developmental milestones and family resilience.  The position will work in the Family Services team at Werribee.   The skills you will use day to day:  * A good understanding of the social context of child abuse and neglect and experience in applying relevant theoretical approaches to deliver outcomes.  * Conduct risk and needs assessments using relevant and contemporary frameworks, theory, and practice models.  * Case recording, data collection, registration standards and other requirements  * Partner with the family and the care team to develop and review action plans aimed at improving outcomes.  * Active engagement of vulnerable children, youth and families and delivering a range of interventions to improve their outcomes  * Skills in case management, including developing community linkages    What you need to know: * A salary at SCHCADS level 5 which equates to around $105,577 plus super. * Flexible through the increments up to 5.3 (dependent upon experience). * Based at our office in Werribee. * Full time, fixed term to 9th April 2027. * We take the Health and Wellbeing of our people seriously offering a Well Worth It!
