LOCATION: MELBOURNE & SYDNEY (HYBRID) | 12 MONTHS CONTRACT

Join our Patient Programs team in a unique external-facing role, leading a high-impact project supporting the launch of a new standard of care in stroke within critical care. This external-facing Account Manager role oversees daily operations for one of Commercial Eyes key client, driving adoption of their product across targeted hospitals.
You’ll manage program delivery, ensure quality and performance, and build strong client relationships. Ideal for candidates with hospital sales, nursing, or Key Account Management experience who thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Two (2) roles available, one (1) based in Melbourne and one (1) based in Sydney.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Nursing background with hospital experience in stroke, emergency, or critical care
  • Experience launching new products or building territories from the ground up
  • Familiarity with telehealth or regional/rural healthcare networks
Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the launch of a breakthrough Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) therapy across targeted hospitals in Australia
  • Drive product adoption through education, clinical support, and relationship-building
  • Idenitfy and engage key stakeholders in Stroke Units, Emergency Departments, and Telestroke networks
  • Facilitate and deliver in-hospital education sessions, peer-to-peer meetings, and evening launch events
  • Represent the brand at conferences and promotional events
  • Achieve sales targets and education delivery KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and identify opportunities
  • Manage territory planning, reporting, and budget allocation
  • Build strong, credible relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers
  • Travel interstate and work flexible hours, including evenings when required
