Job Description Graduate Engineer with structural background having experience in industrial buildings, power plants, substations, or HVDC projects. Develop and execute structural designs for complex industrial buildings, power plants, substations, and HVDC projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designed structures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers, to integrate structural solutions with other building systems. Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports for structural engineering projects. Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications. Implement innovative structural solutions to optimize building performance and cost-effectiveness while maintaining safety standards. Manage project timelines and resources to ensure timely completion of structural engineering deliverables. Stay current with advancements in structural engineering technologies and methodologies, applying new knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes. Participate in client meetings to present structural design concepts and address technical inquiries. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the structural engineering team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from an accredited institution is required. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural design for industrial buildings, power plants, substations, or HVDC projects. Proficient knowledge of relevant building codes and standards, Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis software such as Staad ,SAP2000, ETABS, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Familiarity with BIM software, preferably Revit Structure, is highly desirable. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
