Job Description Contract: 4 months contract with potential of extension Apply principles of engineering and physical sciences in the design of flight vehicle structures Utilize expertise in materials and design tools to support development and integration Collaboratively develop, document, and evaluate structural designs Ensure designs meet performance, functional adequacy, cost efficiency, and manufacturability requirements Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standard Focus areas may include: Primary structural design, Secondary structural design, Payload integration, Weight analysis, Lofting Qualifications 11 years of experience as structural analysis engineer or stress engineer in the aerospace industry Strong background in metallic structural design. Proficiency in CATIA and familiarity with Boeing design processes required. ENOVIA experience preferred. Prior experience working on Boeing programs or fuselage structures. Recent Boeing or Spirit AeroSystems commercial structures experience (within the last 10 years), particularly with primary structures. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (engineering degrees preferred over drafting or technical design backgrounds). Seeking candidates with experience in aerospace structures, product development, and new design rather than narrow specialization.
