OKC BGS (Boeing Global Services) is hiring for Structures Stress Analysis Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) to support Boeing Global Services for the Air Vehicle Analysis located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Primary platforms include KC-135, KC-46, KC-767, E-6.
As a Structures Analysis engineer, you possess a solid understanding of airplane structural analysis methods and tools for both metallic and/or composite structures. You will ensure the airplane has sufficient strength to endure all conditions encountered during its operational life. The analyst also ensures the airplane structure meets all other design requirements including fail-safety, durability and damage tolerance where applicable.
Our team is currently hiring for a range of experience levels including Entry-level and Associate Structures Stress Analysis Engineers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • (Level 2): 1+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
  • 2+ years related work experience in stress analysis
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, or HyperMesh).
  • Experience with Fatigue or Durability Analysis.
  • Experience with Composite Analysis
  • Experience in Aerospace Stress Analysis

SUMMARY PAY RANGE FOR ASSOCIATE LEVEL (LEVEL 2): $71,400 - $96,600

Responsibilities
  • Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design.
  • Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.
  • Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
  • Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
  • Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
