We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural & Architectural Draftsman with proven experience in contracting companies within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and layouts for structural and architectural components in compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of drafting experience in the UAE, preferably with a contracting company.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
• Excellent understanding of construction methods and detailing.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, municipal standards, and submission procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

• Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit based on engineering and architectural designs.
• Modify and revise drawings based on project manager or engineer feedback.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Create shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detail drawings for construction use.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and drawing logs as per project and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and authority requirements (e.g., DM, DDA, Trakhees, ADM, etc.).
• Attend site visits and meetings when required to gather information or resolve design issues.
• Liaise with site engineers to ensure proper implementation of design details.
• Support the submission and approval process with local authorities and consultants.
