YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

Dillon’s Transportation Practice is looking for a Civil Engineering Technologist focused on structural (bridge) CAD design/drafting to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals as we grow our structural design team. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while gaining valuable exposure and experience in the consulting engineering industry.
At Dillon, we operate as one team nationally, however, this position will be based out of our Winnipeg or Calgary offices.
Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Diploma program from an accredited Architectural or Engineering Technologist Program, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 0-5 Years of experience in the engineering consulting industry;
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills;
  • Highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Proficient use of current AutoCAD and/or Revit software is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of relevant municipal/provincial/industry engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements is considered an asset;
  • Understanding of the range of project design and implementation activities including development of design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administration is considered an asset.
