Full service engineering firm with tradition and reputation that goes back over 40 years looking to add a Structural Bridge Engineer to their Indianapolis office! Responsibilities: Design/plan projects according to design specifications for a variety of bridge types (steel plate girder, prestressed concrete girder, and reinforced concrete slab structures) Ensure strength/safety of highway structures through structural analysis Prepare structural design/contract documents (drawings, specifications, and estimates) Assist with preparing project budgets/schedules Prepare bridge/transportation design calculations Requirements: B.S. in Civil Engineering with a emphasis on structural engineering 4+ years of experience Experience using AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software Knowledge of Prestressed Concrete preferred Layout/design of bridges and highway structures expertise preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
