JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Junior/Intermediate CAD Technician/Technologist to join our team. This position is suitable for someone who is passionate about the industry, enthusiastic, and especially very detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. A collaborative, hard worker who has the ability to work independently, take initiative and love to conquer upcoming challenges.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

· Civil/Structural Engineering Technologist Diploma/ Certificate from an accredited university/college.
· Registration as an AScT or CTech with ASTTBC or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in structural engineering or other related fields.
· Proficient at using AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in preparing structural engineering plans and details in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit would be a distinct asset. The position will also entail field inspection duties, assisting the Project Structural Engineer of Record regarding buildings, bridges, and other structures. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Developing structural design drawings using AutoCAD
· Coordinating and assisting the Project Structural Engineer of Record till the project’s final completion.
· Site inspecting and evaluation of assigned projects.
· Other related duties as assigned.
