Job Description We are looking for a qualified Structural/Civil Engineer to perform inspections and assessments of civil structures within a road or infrastructure project. The role focuses on evaluating structural integrity, documenting defects, and recommending maintenance or repair works to ensure safe and reliable operation. Key Responsibilities Conduct field inspections of civil/structural assets such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, underpasses, and barriers. Identify and document structural defects such as cracks, spalling, corrosion, deformation, settlement, water leakage, and joint failures. Prepare detailed inspection reports including photographs, measurements, condition ratings, and engineering observations. Recommend corrective or preventive maintenance actions based on inspection results. Support structural condition surveys (RCS) and routine inspections. Coordinate with Project Manager, Maintenance Teams, and Client representatives. Monitor and follow up on corrective maintenance works on site. Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and databases. Ensure compliance with Ashghal standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 5–8 years of experience in structural/civil inspection (road or infrastructure). Overall experience 8- 12 years of experience Strong knowledge of concrete and structural behavior, defects, and repair methods. Familiarity with O&M projects, asset inspection, and preventive/corrective maintenance is an advantage. Proficiency in report writing and inspection documentation. Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. Valid Qatar ID (transferable) preferred. Immediate joiners are an advantage.
