Structural Design Engineer - Major Energy Infrastructure Projects Endeavour Energy Projects About the Role UGL Utilities Operations & Maintenance works in partnership with Endeavour Energy to deliver essential infrastructure across one of Australia's largest electricity networks. Apply your structural engineering expertise across major infrastructure projects, delivering safe, practical and compliant designs that support network reliability and growth. Why This Role · Flexible depot work arrangement, with initial onboarding at Glendenning and ongoing work from the Endeavour Energy depot closest to your home and 2 days from home. · Work on diverse structural infrastructure projects across the Endeavour Energy network. · Be involved from investigations and design through to construction support. · Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders. · Enjoy stability, career development and long-term project opportunities. Key Responsibilities · Prepare structural designs for foundations, cable pits, gantries, firewalls and substation structures. · Develop design deliverables including drawings, 3D models, calculations and technical reports. · Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve design interfaces and support project delivery. · Undertake site investigations and construction inspections to ensure design compliance and practical outcomes. · Ensure engineering deliverables comply with Endeavour Energy standards, Australian Standards and quality requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. About You · Significant structural engineering experience within utilities, infrastructure or construction. · Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and knowledge of Australian Standards and structural design principles. · Experience preparing structural designs, calculations and reports. · Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. · Current NSW Driver's Licence. Desirable Experience · Electricity distribution, transmission or energy sector experience. · Substation or utility-related infrastructure projects. · AutoCAD, SpaceGass, Revit, Navisworks, Structural Toolkit or similar. · CPEng or working towards Chartership.
