ZC Engineering Inc. is a professional structural design firm located in Markham. ZC Engineering specializes in the structural design of low-rise residents, infill housing, custom homes, house renovation, commercial and industrial buildings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum college degree in civil engineering technology or equivalent with 3 -5 years of relevant experience;
• 3-5 years of working experience in design drafting with AutoCAD.
• Experience working with Revit/BIM modeling is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline- driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Committed to continual improvement and learning
• Construction experience is an asset.

• Develop and prepare structural designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches and specifications.
• Read and interpret existing engineering drawings.
• Check and verify design drawings for conformance with specifications and design data.
• Contribute to the preparation of contracts and tender documents.
• Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Maintain current knowledge of National and Provincial building codes.
