Structural Detailer Job Description Stantec is a leader in global infrastructure, water resource development, Buildings, Mining, Oil and Gas providing engineering design and remediation, construction, procurement, program management, and technology solutions for the environmental, water, wastewater, energy and power markets of the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific region. Stantec is looking for Structural Designer with expertise in Structural detailing Water/ Wastewater applications based in the Pune, India office. The Structural Designer role conducts and supports the delivery of complete structural detail design drawings associated Water/ Wastewater treatment plants. Key Accountabilities: The Structural Detailer shall be responsible for delivery of drawings and associated documentation. Produce reinforced concrete and steelwork arrangement drawings which are clear, accurate, cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned safely and effectively. Consider environmental issues in all detailing activities. Ensure the standard practices and details are utilized wherever possible. Ensure that previous similar solutions are adapted and utilized wherever possible. Report problems in the detailing and brief to an appropriate person. Maintain competitiveness by ensuring drawings are produced within the durations indicated Follow Quality procedures and processes. Ensure drawing co-ordination with all other disciplines internal and external to STANTEC. Maintain drawing files and records throughout the duration of contracts. Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management

Responsibilities

The Structural Detailer is responsible for delivering drawings and associated documentation for structural detail design related to Water/Wastewater treatment plants. This includes producing clear and accurate reinforced concrete and steelwork arrangement drawings while considering environmental issues and adhering to quality procedures.
