Job Description We are seeking a motivated and talented Structural Engineer 1-Marine to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, planning, and cost estimation of a wide range of waterfront and marine infrastructure projects—including water structures, shoreline access systems, and coastal site developments. You bring a strong foundation in marine engineering principles, with knowledge in steel and concrete design, fluid mechanics, and coastal infrastructure. Working closely with experienced engineers and project managers, you’ll help deliver innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions for our clients and communities. Primary Responsibilities Prepare and review design specifications, construction plans, and cost estimates for marine structures and waterfront projects. Develop technical reports and feasibility studies for shoreline access systems and site developments. Utilize engineering software, including AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and L-Pile, for analysis and design. Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure structural integrity and regulatory compliance. Conduct site assessments and assist in evaluating environmental and structural challenges related to marine infrastructure. Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and best practices in marine engineering projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field. EIT preferred. Background in steel design, concrete design, and fluid mechanics. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and/or L-Pile. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and project management abilities.
