This Structural Engineer will support a wide range of projects across industries including commercial, industrial, government, aviation, and technology, parking structures, and infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to develop analytical and design skills while focusing on adaptive reuse, condition assessments, seismic design/retrofits (where applicable), advanced structural analysis methods, and overseeing complex projects. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assist with the design of buildings and other structures in a variety of markets, such as commercial, government and institutional, and infrastructure Coordinate with other engineering and architecture disciplines in producing construction documents Prepare designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, specifications, reports, schematic drawings, and final working drawings for a variety of projects Perform construction administration tasks as contracts require, including coordinating with construction professionals, reviewing shop drawings, visiting sites, and answering RFI’s Perform work including a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements Occasionally perform condition assessments and site visits Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member Progress design experience toward attaining the professional engineer license. · Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university plus two (2) years or more of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Extensive experience using Autodesk Revit to produce structural engineering documents Excellent communication skills Experience in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM Structural, RAM Concept, Tedds, or LPile Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position Sponsorship is not available for this position About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
