Atlantic Consulting & Engineering, a subdivision of The Quill Group, is a multi-disciplined engineering company.
We are a full service consulting firm with a team of highly trained, experienced, and professional civil engineers and land surveyors providing planning, civil engineering, and land surveying expertise to both public and private sector clients. Our staff uses elements of geometry, engineering, trigonometry, mathematics, physics, and law to accomplish the task at hand.
Our library of structural analysis software allows us to effectively model and design your concrete, steel masonry and wood-framed structures to meet all state building code requirements incorporating IBC and IRC requirements that currently dictate building design standards. Our engineers are experienced in mid rise design in both steel and concrete, as well as, developing platforms for wood framing typically used on mid-rise residential structures. Programs like RISA, STAAD, are tools that enable our designers to provide proper design using the most economical, yet safe members.

JOB DETAILS

We are seeking a seasoned, proactive Structural Engineer with design experience for structural steel, wood framing, concrete, foundations including pile designs.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

  • Design from start to finish; complete set of design drawings
  • Must be able to use structural engineering programs including CORE, ETABS, SAP2000, ROBOT, RISA 3D, RAM
  • Steel, concrete, wood, masonry
  • Mid rise apartments, restaurants, schools
  • Must have good written skills and adept at AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Must be able to complete work within allotted time frames
  • Excellent time management and sensitivity to budget are key assets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles
  • Experience in drafting and creating detailed schematics
  • Knowledge of construction processes and materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively with architects and other engineers
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
