Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Join WSP as a structural engineer for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project. Centre Block is our most iconic heritage building and a symbol of Canadian democracy. The building contains the House of Commons and Senate Chambers, as well as offices for MPs, senators and senior administrators.
The Centre Block Rehabilitation Project is a long-term renovation, rehabilitation and rejuvenation project of national interest within the Parliamentary Precinct. WSP (in joint venture) is providing a range of multidisciplinary consultancy services, including structural design and contract administration. WSP’s scope extends well beyond a rehabilitation of Centre Block (CB) and the Peace Tower (PT) to include a large multi-level, below grade Visitor Welcome Centre (VWC) located immediately to the south of CB, and 30 related enabling work projects.
Note: This role can be based in any WSP Office location in Ontario, however will require Reliability clearance as this is a Government Project.

  • Managing and coordinating projects with clients and other disciplines
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to clients and other disciplines
  • Preparing structural design packages
